When people come to the doors of First Baptist, they will be warmly greeted by a door host. The Door Host is there to welcome them and to direct them to our Welcome Center where there will be someone who can assist them with any needs or questions they might have.
The hosts at our Welcome Center are here to serve our guests by being able to answer any questions they might have and help them find where to go. Our Welcome Center Hosts will make sure that guests trying to find their way around our building have a stress-free experience. These hosts will also be able to help find answers to many other questions our guests may have.
Common Ground Cafe`
The café, located in our lobby, seeks to be a place where new friendships are made and old relationships are strengthened. We offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and donuts which are all available by a free-will donation. Common Ground Café is open after each worship service and we hope that all of our guests will stop by for a snack and for the great connections that take place!
Our ushers have the responsibility of responding to our guests' needs within the worship center. The ushers will welcome guests when they arrive at the Multi Purpose Room or Sanctuary. They will also help them to find a comfortable seat and provide them with everything necessary to participate in the service (pens, bulletins, etc.). The ushers are also equipped to handle any unexpected situations as they arise to maintain a comfortable environment within the worship center.
