Single & Parenting
We are excited as a church to be launching this new ministry - Single & Parenting. As a single parent, you know there aren't many people who truly understand the unique challenges you face. You deeply desire to do what's best for your kids, and you worry that you aren't. Sometimes, it's all you can do to survive from one day to the next.
Single & Parenting is a special group that will bring hope to your life. The group is meeting for on Wednesday nights, SEP 10 - DEC 10, from 6:30pm - 8pm in Room #202. There is a full slate of children and youth programming on Wednesday nights so your children can participate in those activities as you are attending this group.
Each evening will consist of three components...a time of greeting and meeting, watching a DVD that provides insightful and practical input from single-parenting experts, as well as the stories of single parents and a group discussion time. You will receive a personal workbook that you can use. The suggested price is $15. If you are unable to pay for the book, scholarships are available.
We encourage you to go to the the Single & Parenting website for additional information, www.singleandparenting.org. If you have any questions, contact the church office at 763.689.1173 or group facilitator, Shelly Martin, at 763.370.9014.
